Thanks for visiting this site! My name is Laura, and I'm making this site to connect with other people who love shepherds as much as I do. I plan to list many of the different health tips and tricks I've learned about how to keep your dogs (and cats) happy and healthy.
I've learned about so many different types of health technology that veterinarians will likely never tell you about. These technologies have literally saved me thousands of dollars over the years, so I love to share them with other Shepherd people. As we all know... shepherds cost a small fortune to feed and care for (but they're well worth it) : )
Please check back to this site soon, as I will be uploading MANY different pages about the types of affordable machines I use on my pets, to help them (and myself) to heal very quickly from injuries!
I also plan to post links for German Shepherd rescue groups, including alerts about German Shepherds that are currently on the kill list in various shepherds in the bay area.
I am currently fostering four shepherds (Titus, Kali, Poppy and Shelby) who were all on the euthanasia list at a shelter in Southern California. They've really grown on me and some are pretty bonded with each other, so I may wind up being the biggest foster failure ever, moving to the Big Island so I can keep them all (if I do, I plan to make it very dog-friendly Air BnB with a trail to go mushing, and would love to meet other shepherd owners and their dogs!)
But I am also open to placing these dogs in great homes IF they would be going into a forever home with an experienced shepherd guardian who loves and cares for shepherds as much as I do.
