- Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2023I I'm literally beating the dog s*** out of cancer with cordyceps and multiple other mushrooms. This brand is very good and there is another type of cordyceps as well called cordyceps CS4. There are things going on with these mushrooms that the medical world doesn't want you to know about. It's actually funny when they look at you and expect you to look terrible and feel terrible. But you don't. And they say what is it that you have been doing? And I say I'll tell you for the same price you charged me to stay in the hospital and operate on me. Right around 3 million19 people found this helpfulReportThank you for your feedback.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 4, 2019Haven't even gotten the product yet but was concerned about the possibility of Cocoa/Cacao in the product based on some other reviews. I reached out to the company ON A SUNDAY with my questions and received an answer right back, same day!
I hope that if they get bigger they manage to keep their excellent customer service, CHEWY is an amazing example of big company/awesome service.
Heres the reply.
Hey xxx!
Thanks for reaching out!
There is absolutely no cocoa powder in our products. We use nothing but pure mushroom extracts. Those reviews are false, and likely from competitors as crazy as that sounds.
That being said, I can totally understand your concerns. We have two dogs (Australian shepherds) who use THRIVE 6! We just sprinkle the powder on their kibble from time to time and they really seem to enjoy it.
Hope that helps! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions.
Best,

He is alert, playful, and strong. He also had that silvery cast to his eyes that some dogs get when they age (cataracts? glaucoma?). That silvery cast is now gone for the most part. Coincidence, perhaps, but the timing leads me to believe that this product helped him with that. He’s only been on it a month, but I’m optimistic he’s on the right path. If you are getting this to add to your coffee, I’ve tried it in mine. It adds a slight flavor, but I sort of feel like if I didn’t know it had been added, I wouldn’t notice a change in flavor. I’m glad I found this product.22 people found this helpfulReportThank you for your feedback.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2023I use this on my two older dogs. One has had sarcomas removed so hopefully Turkey Tail will help keep more away. Love how it comes in a jar and not an envelope and it is pure mushroom extract.3 people found this helpfulReportThank you for your feedback.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 27, 2020This seems like a very quality supplement. I took it every day for 3 weeks, but then I started to notice that I was feeling nauseous in the afternoon. One day I forgot to take it and I didn't feel bad, and it came back the next day when I took it. So I'm putting it in my dog's food. I'm able to take this if I take it infrequently, but somehow it builds up in my system if I take it every day.One person found this helpfulReportHelpful

- Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2023I have used the Ultimate blend throughout Harley’s life for immune support and that has always worked great for us. We just switched to the Lion’s Mane and Reishi now that she’s a senior dog for her aging brain and longevity. I love FreshCap’s mushrooms and it’s the only one I use for Harley and myself.8 people found this helpfulReportHelpful

- Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2022His symptoms seem to have improved quite a bit and I'm hoping it extends his life longer than expected. So far so good.
Side note: I break open the capsule and give him about 1/5th of a capsule on his food. He's about 14 lbs.13 people found this helpfulReportThank you for your feedback.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 17, 2020This stuff is great! I have given it to my 14 year old dog for about 6 weeks and it has given her more energy and has helped heal a bump on her foot. My husband and I are now also taking it due to the amazing improvements it has made in her.One person found this helpfulReportHelpful
- Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2019I switched from another to this after reading about it. I originally started using it for my dog but now I have started to use it as well. I do notice a difference in my overall feeling and the dog seems to like the taste. I am no mushroom expert but the people were really nice as well.ReportHelpful

- Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2021I got three varieties of mushroom in this brand; The Chaga, Reishi, and Turkey Tail.
I read a lot of literature about the product before ordering, and was convinced to try it. I love that the beta glucan is standardized, and that these are derived from the fruiting bodies rather than mycellium. I won't get into the science of that, but if you google "fruiting body vs. mycellium" you will find some good info.
I can't say I've noticed a difference in how I feel, but there are two reasons for that. First, I always feel good. I eat right, exercise, and take various good quality supplements. Second, I'm not taking these much because I mainly have them in mind for my dog. He has a growth that may turn out to be a mast cell tumor. It is really small right now, too small to even aspirate for testing. We will wait and see how it goes, if and when it grows big enough to test.
The three mushrooms I got are the top ones for this type of growth in dogs, especially the chaga (which can be used externally as well).
Bottom line, I spend as much (or even more) research and effort on my precious pups' health as I do my own. So my little Farley is getting most of these mushrooms right now. I empty an equal number of each of the capsules into a container, and sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of the mixture on his food twice per day. According to the research I have done, that is a good amount for a dog his size.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed!6 people found this helpfulReportHelpful - Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2019I was searching under PET department for a mushroom supplement for my cat and dog. - Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2021I got these actually as something to give my dog since my mom was reading up on how certain mushrooms can help fight cancer, and this was one of them.
We actually take it out of the capsule and measure it for her body weight then mix it in with her food.
So far she still eats the food we give her and has had no side effects so so far happy with it!
Can only hope it helps fight cancer, but as of now too early to tell if this is really doing anything in those regards.2 people found this helpfulReportHelpful
